Job summary

PIH Health Whittier Hospital in Whittier, CA is seeking a qualified CT Technologist to perform computed tomography exams with a focus on maximum image quality, patient safety and comfort. The role requires California CRT, ARRT CT, venipuncture and CPR/BLS, with at least 3 years radiography experience and 1 year CT in an acute care facility.

Shift is Days; salary ranges from hourly rates of 46.50–67.28, commensurate with experience. Fluoroscopy certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs computed tomography exams and procedures with maximal image quality, patient safety and comfort while maintaining the lowest possible radiation exposure. Exams and procedures include all parts of the vasculature structures and organ systems.

Required Experience

Required:

• State of California CRT
• ARRT certification in CT
• Venipuncture certification and/or documentation of training
• CPR/BLS
• Clinical training – Three (3) years’ experience in diagnostic radiography in an acute care facility
• One (1) year in a CT setting of an acute care facility

Preferred:

• Three (3) years’ experience scanning in CT in an acute care facility
• Fluoroscopy certification
