Job Description

Multi-modality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within two or more imaging modalities. Technologist must be able to effectively explain procedures to patients and ensure they are competent in the procedures being performed. Technologist must produce images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.

Work Experience: 1 year of Radiologic experience.

Registry/License:

  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA), with an obligation to obtain Advanced Modality registration within 1 year of hire.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
