Mercy is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and operate CT equipment, ensuring patient safety and high-quality images. The role requires effective communication with patients and radiology staff to support accurate diagnoses.

This is a full-time position in the PB Radiology Dept. with days schedule in Poplar Bluff, MO, offering comprehensive Mercy benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with clinical hours.
• No experience required.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• ARRT registry obtainable or registry eligible; BLS within 30 days of hire.

The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The CT Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours.
• Experience: no experience required
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• Certification/Registration: Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating imaging equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
