Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield - Imaging at National is seeking a CT Technologist for PRN daytime shifts. The role performs diagnostic CT procedures, operates imaging equipment, and ensures patient safety while delivering high-quality images.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited imaging program with clinical hours, at least 2 years of experience, ARRT CT certification and BLS. State licensure may be required depending on location.

Overview:

The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The CT Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and the required clinical hours have been completed.
• Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• Certification/Registration: ARRT (CT) ; Basic Life Support (BLS)
