Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a CT Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT equipment and to provide quality patient care across all ages.

Required qualifications include ARRT with CT, Texas MRT license, CPR, and 2–5 years CT experience, with graduation from an AMA-approved radiology program and ongoing knowledge updates as CT techniques evolve. On-site position in Texas, with responsibilities including IV access and contrast

Qualifications

• Specific CT training (GE VCT) required
• 2–5 years CT experience
• ARRT certification with CT credentials
• Texas MRT license
• CPR certification

• Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures for patients of all ages
• Provide high-quality patient care and safety throughout imaging procedures
• Maintain CT equipment, ensure proper protocol and infection control
• Keep up-to-date with evolving CT techniques and procedures

Job description

Performs diagnostic procedures utilizing imaging equipment while providing quality care to patients of all ages. Requires self motivation to increase the level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease and new procedures as they evolve.

Required Skills:

Education, Training and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Associate or Bachelors Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Specific Training in Computerized Tomography-GE VCT required
• Two to five years experience specific to CT
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification in CT.
• Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist - (MRT)
• CPR certified.

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology

0-1 years of experience with competency in components of computed tomography

Possession of current registry in Radiology and CT

Possession of current state registration (as applicable to the state in which the position resides)

AHA BLS required upon hire

Skilled in starting IV’s and injection of contrast
