Job Summary and Qualifications

What You Will Do in This Role:

1. Demonstrate knowledge of all CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams.
2. Handle exam preparations and patient instructions.
3. Consistently utilize radiation protection methods and use shielding as necessary.
4. Obtain patient history and collaborate with the Radiologist on proper contrast usage.
5. Responsible for post-processing of data.
6. Assist physicians during invasive procedures to ensure the best patient care.
7. Assist during codes as necessary.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

1. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
2. State Registered Radiologic Technician.
3. Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
4. Associate Degree.
5. This position is at our FSED.
