Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts on Fri-Sun (6:30PM-7:00AM) at the Albany, GA campus. This role involves performing CT scans under physician supervision and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout exams.

The ideal candidate holds a Vocational / Technical Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT CT certification, CPR and BLS, with 1–2 years CT experience preferred and a commitment to high-quality imaging and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and procedures following physician instructions.
• Start & administer IV contrast media as prescribed.
• Prepare and conduct scans according to established protocols.
• Apply ALARA principles and tailor technique to body habitus, age and radiation dose considerations.
• Provide direct patient care and ensure excellent customer service; explain exams to patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a positive work environment.

Job Summary

This position is a 12 hour shift - Fri - Sun (6:30PM-7:00AM) CT technologist is responsible performing CT scans and procedures, under the supervision of a qualified physician for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases. The CT technologist must be able to accurately interpret the physician scanning instructions, start & administer IV contrast media, prepare and perform the scans according to established protocols. The technologist must be knowledgeable about the radiation exposure to the patient and make technical changes according to body habitus, age and ALARA principle. The technologist provides direct patient care to all ages of patients. The technologist is provide very good customer service; that is to treat every patient with respect, courtesy, and explain the exam to the patient . The technologist must be able to work together with others providing a positive work environment.

Education Requirements

• Vocational / Technical Degree in Radiologic Technology (Required)

Experience Requirements

• 1 - 2 years CT (Preferred)

Certifications and Licensures

• Certified Computed Tomography (CT)(ARRT)
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
