Job summary

South Shore Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our radiology team. The role includes performing CT exams, preparing patients, ensuring image quality, and maintaining equipment. We offer competitive pay, generous shift differentials, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions.

Shifts include day, evening, and night options with no on-call requirement. We provide exposure to a Level II Adult Trauma Center and Level III NICU, with benefits starting day one and free parking/shuttle

Qualifications

• Formal training in Radiology Technology from an AMA approved program.
• Minimum of three to four years radiologic experience; CT experience preferred.
• ARRT CT certification and MA Radiation Control Program license.
• BLS certification within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment for proper diagnostic imaging and safety compliance.
• Sets up and calibrates CT equipment for each exam, checks dose limits.
• Assists and explains procedures to patients, ensuring proper handling.
• Reviews orders with Radiologist to ensure correct exams and timely transport.
• Performs contrast administration; maintains supplies and inventory.
• Ensures image quality, proper transfers, and adheres to safety protocols.
• Trains department staff and students on CT procedures.
