Qualifications

• Formal training in Radiology Technology of AMA approved program.
• Minimum 3–4 years Radiologic experience; CT exposure preferred.
• ARRT CT certification; MA lic required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CT equipment and administer imaging procedures.
• Set up and adjust equipment per exam requirements.
• Assess patient condition and explain procedures to patients.
• Assist in contrast administration and IV access.
• Review patient charts with Radiologist for accurate exams.
• Quality control images and maintain inventory; safety compliant.
• Utilize anatomy knowledge to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Adopt new dept technology and hospital-wide improvements.
• Ensure safety and proper PPE usage and infection control.
