Qualifications

• CT certification is required for the role.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Review imaging orders and determine exam requirements and views.
• Operate imaging equipment with proper technique and patient positioning.
• Troubleshoot scanners, prepare and operate contrast injector.
• Greet patients, verify identity and explain procedures clearly.
• Perform quality assurance testing per section protocols.
• Use RIS and PACS systems throughout daily workflow.
• Comply with OSHA, TJC, DOH and other safety regulations.
• Maintain workstation inventory and rotate stock as needed.
• Participate in clinical education of students as appropriate.
• Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies per policy.
• Establish relationships with facility teams and external clients.
