Qualifications

• No educational requirement
• Must be registered in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) within two years of hire/transfer to the position.
• If North Dakota, must have current license on the North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing radiation to patients (infant through adult) for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research procedures using advanced imaging systems.
• Assist radiologists with interventional and biopsy procedures.
• Provide optimal patient care and interact with patients according to age-appropriate protocols.
