Job summary

Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center in Columbia, MD is seeking experienced CT Technologists to join a fast-paced imaging team within the Johns Hopkins Health System. Temporary, hospital-based role with flexible schedules, offering competitive hourly pay and benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401(k).

Two years of CT experience preferred. Requires AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification, Maryland license and BLS.

Qualifications

• CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience
• Graduate of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT certification and MD license
• Maryland Radiologic Technologist license is required
• AHA BLS certification is required

Responsibilities

• Consistently selects and performs appropriate CT protocol based on patient’s clinical presentation according to established guidelines.
• Selects reviews and adjusts appropriate technical factors to produce optimal CT images based on patient’s age and physical condition.
• Routinely positions patients properly on CT table. Removes all preventable artifacts that may interfere with image quality.
• Completes the full exam including paperwork, post-processing and archiving.
• Verifies accurate and complete patient identifiers, procedure and other pertinent information.
