Job summary

UPMC Muncy is seeking a CT Technologist for a casual, as-needed role within our Imaging Services team. You will perform CT procedures across day, evening, and overnight shifts, with a minimum commitment of one weekend per month and one holiday per year.

This position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth on the CT career ladder. You will administer contrast, optimize image quality, document in the EMR, and collaborate with radiologists and nurses to deliver high-quality patient

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB/CNMT certification required within designated timelines.
• CT registry required within 18 months of hire/primary certification.
• BLS/CPR required within 30 days of hire.
• CT certification within 18 months of obtaining primary registry credential or hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures using established imaging protocols with minimal supervision.
• Administer contrast media per physician orders.
• Assess patients for risk factors prior to contrast administration.
• Operate CT equipment to acquire, analyze, reconstruct, and document high-quality images.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Document procedures in the EMR and ensure proper coding and documentation.
