Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital in Largo, FL is seeking a Florida-licensed CT Technologist for a full-time position. You will perform diagnostic CT exams across multiple locations, including off-campus sites, while delivering compassionate patient care.

The role requires weekday availability, completion of an approved radiologic program, ARRT CT certification, and active BLS. You will collaborate with radiologists, maintain equipment, and ensure high-quality imaging across campuses.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 24-month program in Radiologic Technology at an AMA-approved institution.
• Current ARRT (CT) certification.
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to perform work requiring standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Minimum 1–3 years current/recent experience in diagnostic radiology.

Responsibilities

• Select technical factors and perform diagnostic CT exams accurately.
• Operate CT scanner, perfusion equipment and teleradiology systems safely.
• Administer contrast media and related procedures.
• Position patients ensuring modesty and safety.
• Document clinical information and obtain informed consent.
• Acquire high-quality CT images for interpretation.
• Stay updated on software protocols through training and seminars.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and supply levels.
• Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed.
