Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join our radiology team. The role involves preparing patients, performing CT imaging with Siemens Force scanners, and ensuring image quality and patient safety throughout the procedure.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with responsibility for contrast administration, exam coordination, and accurate documentation in the medical record and PACS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Computed Tomography (CT) certification.
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Accreditation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Maintains accountability for patient safety throughout the imaging process.
• Produces diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols and professional standards.
• Administers contrast per policy and monitors patients.
• Operates imaging equipment and maintains imaging room readiness.
• Reviews images prior to exam completion and initiates corrective action when needed.
