At Barnes Jewish Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most advanced technology available, including the world's first photon-counting CT scanners! This position will rotate at our new Plaza West Tower, opening in October 2025. We welcome new grads, upcoming grads, and experienced Radiology/CT Technologists to apply.

*** Willing to train an already licensed Technologist in CT! Acceptable licenses and certifications are listed below.***

Position Details:

  • REQUIRED: License or certification in one of the following: RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
  • Weekend Option: Saturday, Sunday (6:30 am - 7 pm), third shift negotiable (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday 6:30 am - 7 pm)
  • No Call!
  • Weekend Premium Rate applies
  • 5% Differential on top of base rate for CT certification
  • Relocation Bonus Eligibility
  • $5000 Sign-On Bonus

Overview

Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is the largest hospital in Missouri and is ranked as one of the nation's top hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. Imagine working with the most advanced imaging equipment, learning the latest multi-slice CT techniques, or collaborating with seasoned surgical teams using cutting-edge diagnostic tools. The Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Barnes-Jewish pioneered milestones like 3-D cancer treatment planning and was the first in Missouri to combine PET and CT scans. Our radiology department is among the top five in the U.S., performing over 453,000 diagnostic exams annually.


Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (such as CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis, treatment, and quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares patients and equipment for procedures.
  • Performs studies independently, including on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Associate degree or equivalent from trade school

Experience

  • No experience required

Licenses & Certifications

  • IEMA - Illinois only, excluding MRI
  • RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES

Preferred Requirements

  • CPR certification
  • Intravenous Therapy certification
