Pay Range: $29.19 - $43.79
Summary:

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, 1:00pm-11:00pm
The CT Technologist assures that a written physician order is received prior to an exam performance and collects pertinent information. The CT Technologist reviews exams on the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), checking for quality and completeness, and completes all necessary paperwork. The technologist demonstrates regard for patient's safety and comfort.
Essential Job Functions:
Provides the patient and family with appropriate education to optimize their understanding within scope of responsibility.
Assures that a proper order is received prior to an exam performance and collects pertinent information prior to performing exam. Assists the Radiologist/physician with patient exams and notifies them of changes to the patient that may alter exam protocol and performance.
Reviews images for quality and completeness. Verifies that all images are on Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) with appropriate paperwork scanned in and distributes exam for interpretation to appropriate radiologist at completion of exam.
Demonstrates regard for patients' safety and comfort during transportation, immobilization, and positioning of patient.
Prepares pharmaceutical vials for injection, calculates and measures dosage accurately, and administers orally or by intravenous injection (IV) the correct diagnostic or therapeutic dosage and completes all required records. Maintains accurate and complete record of all material received, dispensed, decayed and disposed of.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
