Job summary

TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, TN, seeks a CT Technologist for a new Free-Standing ER opening in April 2027. The role focuses on performing CT scans with protocol adherence, patient safety, and exceptional service.

You will assist radiologists, manage patient history, and support on-call coverage while upholding ALARA principles. Qualified candidates have ARRT with advanced CT registry or are eligible for certification within 6 months, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Current ARRT certification with advanced CT registry, or eligible with advanced CT certification within 6 months.
• 1 year post-graduate experience preferred but not required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams following protocols and ensure high-quality imaging.
• Prepare procedure trays with supplies.
• Take patient history and retrieve orders/prior images.
• Provide patient history, signs and symptoms to radiologist.
• Complete documentation accurately.
• Coordinate patient flow and daily list.
• Support ALARA principles.
• Inform patients about procedures and answer questions.
• Interact professionally with physicians, patients and families.
• Start IVs for contrast administration and use power injector.
• Contribute to after-hours on-call coverage.
• Maintain licenses, certifications, and accreditations.
• Uphold ICARE values.
• Participate in quality and performance improvement plans.
