Job Description: Radiologic and CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic and CT Technologist to perform radiographic and CT procedures at a professional level, requiring minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will exercise independent judgment and initiative to ensure high-quality images and pertinent diagnostic information for physicians.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education, Certification, and Licensure:
  • For West Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland: Certified by ARRT in Radiography or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist through NMTCB; Radiologic Technologist license in respective state; BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • For Pennsylvania: ARRT or NMTCB certification; BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• CT certification by ARRT.
• At least two years of experience in Radiology or CT.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT exams, assist with interventional procedures, administer contrast media, utilize imaging workstations and PACS, and perform IV insertions and blood draws. Maintain documentation, ensure safety, and operate imaging equipment proficiently.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Frequent physical activity including walking, standing, lifting, and patient positioning.
• Ability to lift over 100 pounds occasionally, and up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Exposure to biological hazards, radiation, and high-stress environments.

• Strong technical and analytical skills, ability to work under stress, and sound judgment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts.

Additional Details

Location: Elkins Corridor, 4 ten-hour day shifts (Sun-Wed, 8am-6:30pm).

Employment Type: Non-exempt, full-time, 40 hours/week.
