Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week contract in the Boston, MA area. The role involves operating CT equipment to capture diagnostic images and ensuring patient safety and comfort with proper radiation protection protocols.

Qualified candidates have ARRT in Radiography, ARRT CT preferred, and a state license where applicable. The position offers 40 hours weekly, with AM shifts available and potential extension based on performance.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine technical quality.
