Reading Hospital is seeking CT Technologists to perform CT imaging per protocol, ensuring accurate diagnostic quality. The role emphasizes anatomy knowledge, radiation safety, and appropriate contrast administration to support physician orders.

Ideal candidates have CT experience, BLS certification, and ARRRT credentials as CT radiologic technologists. The position is full-time with shift and weekend rotation in a healthcare system serving the Reading area.

Qualifications

• Post High School Diploma Program required.
• Must have working experience as a Cat Scan Technologist.
• BLS Certification required; RT (R) (ARRT) or RT (CT) (ARRT) or RT (N) (CT) (ARRT) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT imaging according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information.
• Demonstrates understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Maintains knowledge in radiation protection and safety.
• Prepares and administers contrast media per hospital policy.
• Uses critical thinking and professional judgment in care delivery.
