Job summary

Highland Hospital of Rochester NY is seeking a Licensed Radiology Technologist with CT experience to perform radiologic procedures under physician supervision. Responsibilities include contrast administration, patient assessment, and imaging using advanced CT protocols in a per diem role.

The successful candidate will hold NY State radiologic licensure, have at least 1 year CT experience, and be willing to obtain IV injection certification within 6 months while maintaining BLS CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year CT experience.
• Licensed Radiology Technologist in NY State.
• Current BLS CPR certification required.
• Willing to obtain IV injection certification for CT within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures using established protocols and with independent judgment.
• Administer contrast media (PO, rectal, IV) as ordered and assess patient risks.
• Ensure patient identification using two identifiers and adhere to universal protocol.
• Review physician orders and patient history to select appropriate protocols and document in the EMR.
