Job summary

Barton Health in South Lake Tahoe, CA seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT and CTA scans and PGI post-processing under the supervision of the Lead Technologist. Responsibilities include data archiving in PACS and ensuring quality imaging per protocols.

Qualifications include ARRT CT registry (or eligible within 6 months), CRT certification, CPR/BLS, and minimum one year CT radiology experience. Proficiency with computer systems and English communication is required; Epic experience

Qualifications

ARRT registry as radiologic technologist required.
ARRT CT registry required or registry eligible within 6 months after hire date.
California CRT certification required.
California fluoroscopy certification or obtain within 3 months after hire date.
CPR/BLS certification by the American Heart Association or ability to obtain prior to start date.
High school diploma or GED acceptable as minimum education.

Responsibilities

Performs CT scans and basic CT post-processing per standards.
Assists physicians during CT-guided interventional procedures with sterile technique.
Maintains imaging rooms, equipment, and supplies.
Operates PACS, RIS, EMR and related imaging software.
Ensures patient safety and regulatory compliance during procedures.
Documents imaging procedures accurately and timely.
