Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a CT Technologist to provide diagnostic CT imaging with direct patient care at Southside Medical Center in Petersburg, VA. You will operate CT equipment, assess patient data, and ensure safe, high-quality scans under radiologist supervision.

Requirements include ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification, BLS, and 1 year of CT/Rad Tech experience where applicable. On-call rotation is part of the role, with competitive benefits and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in radiologic technology preferred.
• 1 year CT/Rad Tech experience preferred.
• ARRT Certification in Diagnostic Radiology required.
• CT modality registration preferred or must obtain within two years.
• State licensure preferred or required by location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure image quality and verify patient data.
• Perform CT procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Position patients and immobilize as needed for accurate scans.
• Administer IV contrast agents as required.
• Assist radiologist with biopsies and related procedures.
• Maintain CT IT systems (Radiant, PACS).
• Participate in on-call rotation.
