Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a CT Technologist to our CT Scan department at Baptist South. As a CT Technologist, you will work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety, aligning with our mission to make hope, healing, and well-being accessible to everyone as an expression of God's love. Our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging services, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and thriving in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing patients for procedures (including administering IV contrast and patient positioning), providing explanations and education, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures.
• Promote good will among co-workers and other departments, maintaining a positive, comforting demeanor with patients.
• Maintain compliance with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Identify, prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed, following all regulations and policies.

Education and Experience

• Vocational School required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• 1-2 years radiology experience preferred.
• Less than 1 year radiologic technologist experience acceptable.
• Customer service experience and hospital setting experience are a plus.

Licenses and Certifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• CPR certification required.
• Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography (ARRT-CT) required.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required.
• Radiologic Technologist license required.
