Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
• One year of CT Tech employment experience.
• Current MRAD or RTCT credential.
• Current AHA BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic and CT studies with accurate technique.
• Identify patients, explain procedures, and verify orders to minimize radiation.
• Use clinical judgment for additional views or radiologist consultation.
• Log patient data, troubleshoot, and optimize workflow and study prioritization.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety and adherence to PPE and safety protocols.
• Enter accurate data and ensure exams and supplies are charged/filled.
• Pursue CE in XR/CT and assist new staff; participate in policy adherence.
