Job summary

Essentia Health in Aurora, MN is seeking a radiologic technologist to administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and to assist radiologists with interventional and biopsy procedures.

Qualifications

• No educational requirement.
• Must be registered in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) within two years of hire/transfer to the position.
• If North Dakota, must have current license on the North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic procedures, and/or research purposes.
• Assist radiologists with interventional and biopsy procedures.
• Provide optimal patient care utilizing established techniques.
• Interact with patients appropriate to the age group of the patient population.
