Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computerized tomography imaging and related patient care under the supervision of the Radiology team. You will ensure diagnostic-quality scans, follow radiation safety rules, and support radiologists during procedures.

The role requires an Associate Degree, Texas RT license or ARRT-R, and BLS certification; experience is preferred, but new grads are considered.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT‑R radiography required.
• TX licensed RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer required.
• Associate Degree required.
• Experience preferred; licensed new grads will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Follow established radiation safety rules and protect patients and staff.
• Explain CT procedures to gain patient confidence and cooperation.
• Position patients correctly and safely for imaging.
• Set up patient, supplies and equipment before procedures; assist radiologists as needed.
• Assist radiologists during biopsy or guidance procedures and have films ready.
• Ensure imaging equipment and films are properly managed and ready for review.
