Job summary

DMS Health Technologies is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to work weekdays during daytime hours at our VA sites in Tappahannock and Colonial Heights. The role emphasizes high-quality imaging, patient communication, and flexibility to travel within the region for backup coverage.

Responsibilities include positioning patients, administering IV contrast, interpreting orders, maintaining patient records, and supporting supply management.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Ability to multi-task while delivering high-quality CT imaging in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and follow instructions in stressful environments.
• CNMT or ARRT (N) CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure physicians and care team receive high-quality images for diagnoses.
• Explain CT procedure to patients and align expectations.
• Position patients properly to obtain necessary images.
• Administer IV contrast to enhance imaging.
• Examine images to ensure usability and accuracy.
• Update patient medical information and records.
• Maintain CT supplies and restock as required.
• Travel to other sites within the region to provide backup support.
