Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography).
• Certifications: ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography).
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures per guidelines and capture quality images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely; minimize dose (ALARA).
• Clean and disinfect rooms and equipment; report issues.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders with two identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; ease patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during visits.
• Administer contrast per protocol; use venipuncture if needed.
• Position patients and apply markers and shielding as required.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and re-run if needed.
• Document accurately and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies as needed.
• Maintain workflows, restock, and support department operations.
