Job summary

Mercy Health’s Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati seeks a CT Technologist to apply diagnostic imaging techniques with safe, direct patient care. You will produce CT scans and support radiologists with procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology, BLS, CT modality registration (preferred or within two years), and 1 year CT/Rad Tech experience. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred).
• BLS Basic Life Support is required at hire for locations; ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification is required.
• Advanced modality registration in CT is preferred, or must obtain within two years.
• State Licensure preferred unless required by the state where the job is performed.
• 1 year of CT or Rad Tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures the quality of all CT images and confirms data accuracy.
• Performs computed tomography procedures.
• Performs timeout as required per policy.
• Positions and immobilizes patients for CT scanning.
• Obtains radiation exposures as requested by physician.
• Performs IV injections and contrast administration.
• Assists radiologist with biopsies and drainage procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of CT IT systems (Radiant, PACS).
• Participates in on-call rotation as required.
