Job summary

MemorialCare Health System is seeking a per diem CT Technologist in Long Beach to operate CT, mammography and angiography equipment under radiologist supervision. You will ensure safe patient care, accurate imaging, and efficient exam flow at MemorialCare Imaging Center.

Under the supervision of a radiologist, you will perform a variety of radiologic procedures on pediatric and adult patients, maintain records, and participate in patient care coordination while supporting ongoing education for

Qualifications

3+ years of CT procedures experience; 2+ years full-time radiologic tech experience.
Ability to work independently with high accountability.
Ability to delegate and provide direction through leadership and training.

Responsibilities

Identify appropriate tests and produce high-quality radiographs with efficient turnaround.
Attend to patients' physical and emotional needs for a positive exam experience.
Prepare and clean exam areas and equipment; maintain accurate records for billing and compliance.
Utilize RIS and interfaces to support automated patient care goals and documentation.
Contribute to patient flow to ensure timely examinations.
Assist in training Radiology Tech students and new staff.
