Job summary

MemorialCare Health System in Long Beach is seeking a CT Technologist to provide safe and cost-effective patient care at the Imaging Center, under radiologist supervision. You will operate CT, angiography, mammography, and breast ultrasonography equipment at proficient levels.

The role requires 3+ years CT experience and CA licensure with ARRT certification. Per diem, day shift, at MemorialCare Imaging Center, with opportunities to contribute to patient-care excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CT procedures experience; 2+ years radiologic technician full-time experience.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high accountability.
• Leadership and training responsibilities in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Identify tests to be performed and produce high-quality radiographs.
• Administer safe contrast media.
• Ensure patient care before, during, and after exams.
• Prepare equipment and maintain exam area cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping and billing per Joint Commission requirements.
• Utilize RIS and interfaces to support automated patient care goals.
• Contribute to patient flow and timely examinations.
• Assist in training Radiology Technologist students and new staff.
• Support physician relationships with timely follow-up and communications.
