Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Dallas seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures under radiologist supervision. The role requires adherence to exam protocols, radiation safety, and high-quality imaging while ensuring patient comfort and clear communication through AIDET.

Candidates should hold ARRT CT certification (and Radiography certification) and TX MRT license, with minimal prior experience. On-site shift, with benefits and a sign-on bonus for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Certification in CT imaging required.
• Certification in Radiography required.
• Licensed by TX Medical Board as MRT.
• Experience: Less than 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures under Radiologist supervision.
• Follow exam protocols and maintain image quality.
• Monitor radiation doses and ensure patient safety.
• Use iSTAT or equivalent point-of-care testing as needed.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and communicate with patients and families.
• Prepare patient and area, position patient, and adjust equipment for exposure factors.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness; assist with supplies and documentation.
• Maintain imaging records per department policies.
