CT Technologist (CT Tech) - Maryview Medical Center

Schedule: Evenings, 11:30 AM - 11 PM, Tuesday - Friday.

Job Summary

The CT Technologist provides direct patient care by performing diagnostic imaging using CT equipment, aiding in diagnosis and treatment through producing diagnostic scans.

Essential Functions

• Verify patient and procedural data accuracy.
• Perform computed tomography procedures.
• Properly position and immobilize patients on CT cradles.
• Make radiation exposures by energizing the scanner.
• Administer radiographic contrast agents intravenously, orally, or rectally as needed.
• Assist radiologists with biopsies and drainage procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of CT IT systems, including Radiant and PACS.
• Participate in on-call rotations and timeout procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institution (preferred).
• Current BLS certification (required, must obtain prior to patient care).
• Registration with ARRT (required).
• Advanced CT modality registration (preferred or must be obtained within 2 years).
• State licensure (preferred, depending on state requirements).

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT or Radiologic Technologist (preferred).
• Experience with EPIC EHR and PACS systems (preferred).
