Job summary

Elliot Health System in Manchester, NH is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures and assist with interventional work, following safety and teamwork standards. You will operate Siemens CT equipment and support the radiology team in a modern, patient‑centered environment.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited radiography or related program, holds ARRT (CT) certification, and has or will obtain BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited educational program in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine technology.
• Certification by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy is required.
• ARRT (CT) certification is required, with eligibility considered for hire if obtained within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures and related techniques to produce sectional and three-dimensional images.
• Position patients and prepare for CT procedures following the manual.
• Provide radiation protection to patients, staff, and self per safety standards.
• Record patient history, exam details, and technique information.

Education

About the Job

A Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist performs computed tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for the interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner and assists with interventional procedures. The CT Technologist performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission, Philosophy and Code of Conduct of Elliot Health System.

What You’ll Do

• Practices within the scope of practice of the computed tomography technologist as outlined by the American Society of Radiologic Technologist (ASRT)
• Performs venipuncture
• Prepares and positions patient for CT procedures according to the CT procedure manual
• Provides radiation protection to patient, staff, and self-according to prescribed safety standards
• Records patient history, unusual conditions/limitations, and other information such as; exam time, room number, and technique

Who You Are

• Graduate of an accredited educational program in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine technology,
• Required Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Certification
• Required ARRT (CT) certification,
• Required ARRT eligible candidates will be considered for hire with the expectation that certification will be obtained within 12 months of hire
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment
