Responsibilities

Cat Scan Technologists are generally certified radiologic technologists. They operate CT equipment to create diagnostic images of the interior parts of the human body. Responsibilities include preparing patients by explaining procedures, positioning them accurately, and assisting physicians in reading and analyzing images. Most travel CT Tech positions are on hospital premises.

Requirements

• 1+ year of recent experience in a similar setting
• Valid professional license or registration as required by the state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA (may be required)
• ARRT or ARDMS credentials as per discipline
• Specialty-related certifications (preferred and may be required)
• Professional references
