General Summary

Location: Henry Ford St. John Hospital, 22101 Moross Rd, Detroit, MI 48236

Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Full Time Benefit Eligible

Shift: FT 36 hours per week, day shift 6:30a-3p, rotating weekends, holiday coverage, and on-call

Cross training opportunities are available for Radiologic Technologists interested in pursuing a career in CT

Perform computerized tomographic procedures for diagnosing disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters, administering contrast media or medications within scope of practice, observing patients during procedures, monitoring protocols, and following radiation safety procedures.

Education/Experience Required

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.

Certification/Licenses Required

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire or transfer, accepted from AHA or ARC.
• One or more of the following:
• Nuclear Medicine Tech credentialed from NMTCB prior to hire or transfer OR
• ARRT(CT) certification in Computed Tomography prior to hire or transfer OR
• ARRT in Radiography with additional Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty prior to hire or transfer.
