Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ seeks Radiologic Technologists to perform X-ray, Nuclear Medicine and MRI procedures. Cross-training into CT is available with pay during training.

This role requires ARRT/NMTCB certification, AZ licensure, and BLS; a CT license is preferred for cross-training eligibility. We offer varied day/night shifts with back-up on-call coverage, registry/per diem options, competitive wages, and a comprehensive benefits package through Banner Staffing

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT or NMTCB CNMT certification required; state licensure for AZ.
• CT license needed prior to hire if cross-training applicable.
• Advanced CT certification required within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification is required. Typically two years experience in radiology.
• Cross-training into CT is supported with appropriate licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed radiology procedures following orders and policies.
• Educate patients about procedures and ensure safety and privacy.
• Produce high-quality images and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain equipment quality control and troubleshoot as needed.
• Support department workflow and inventory to prevent interruptions.
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional radiology standards.

Education

Radiologic Technology program certificate/diploma

ARRT certification required or NMTCB CNMT

AZ/WY/NV state licensure; CT license if cross-training

Advanced CT certification within 18 months

BLS certification required

Two years radiology experience
