Job summary

Banner Health is seeking Radiologic Technologists for Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ. The roles require day and night coverage with assignment-based shifts and on-call CT cross-training opportunities.

Multiple shifts are available across a busy imaging department, with potential progression to CT responsibilities after training. Qualified candidates will have ARRT or NMTCB certification, state licensure for AZ, and CT certification within 18 months; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification (R) or NMTCB CNMT required.
• State licensure required for AZ, WY, NV; radiography or nuclear medicine.
• Valid CT license needed prior to hire; cross-training CT recognized.
• Advanced CT certification within 18 months; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed radiology procedures following orders and department policies.
• Educate patients/families about procedures and care.
• Produce high quality images and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain equipment and safety; ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Uphold ethical and confidential handling of patient information.
