This 13-week contract offers FLEX shifts, 36 hrs/week, with potential extension. Eligible candidates hold ARRT in Radiography; CT certification is preferred, and an active state license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Requirement: accredited Radiologic Technology degree (AA/BA).
• ARRT certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic license where required by state.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
• Explain scanning procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Maintain radiation safety and quality control for CT exams.
• Review CT images for technical adequacy and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details:

• $2,194 - $2,461 per week
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• FLEX shifts available
• 36 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
