Job summary

Grand River Health in Rifle, Colorado is seeking a dedicated Computed Tomography Tech to join our Radiology team. This full-time, rotating role focuses on safe, accurate diagnostic imaging and delivering a positive patient experience in a community hospital setting.

The successful candidate will perform CT procedures, ensure radiation safety, and collaborate with physicians and staff. ARRT CT certification and ARRT Radiography registration are required; BLS must be obtained within three months

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT Radiography registration and ARRT CT certification.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Sciences preferred.
• One year of professional radiology experience preferred.
• BLS certification within three months of hire.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and medical imaging equipment; ability to respond calmly in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures per departmental protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Obtain patient histories, explain procedures, address concerns, and educate patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Participate in Performance Improvement and related quality initiatives.
• Support education and committee activities as assigned.
