Crouse’s Medical Imaging team provides services that include: Computed Tomography, Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasonography, Breast Health Services, Bone Densitometry, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Interventional Radiology. The team is hiring a CT Technologist to work various schedules: 7:00am-4:00pm, 3:00pm-12:00am, 11:00pm-7:30am, with weekends, holidays, on-call, and other shifts as assigned.

Pay Range:

Non-Certified: $31.00 - $56.81/hour

Certified: $31.50 - $57.82/hour

Based on verified education and experience

Responsibilities include:
  1. Analyze patient medical records to ensure proper technical factors such as kilovoltage, exposure time, image number, and technical quality are used.
  2. Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, including computed tomography, unenhanced, enhanced, CTA, etc.
  3. Review images and records for accuracy, quality, and completeness for diagnostic purposes.
  4. Document results accurately and alert the Radiologist of any unacceptable variations.
  5. Perform routine medical imaging equipment quality control checks, document results according to department policy, and notify leadership of any faulty equipment.
Education and Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • New York State Diagnostic Medical Radiography License required
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registration required
  • ARRT Computerized Tomography Board Certification or 1 year of full-time experience as a CT Technologist in lieu of certification
  • Must obtain ARRT CT Certification within 1 year of hire if not already certified
  • Certification with the Bureau of Environmental Radiation Protection for radiologic procedures involving contrast media within 90 days of hire
