Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something special, shaping the future in our community.

Job Summary

As a CT Technologist, you'll utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for diagnosis, following safety procedures and protocols. Your responsibilities include interpreting physician instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and operating CT equipment, and positioning patients to capture accurate images. Your daily tasks will also include:

• Maneuvering equipment and patients
• Providing basic patient care
• Submitting accurate and timely imaging, patient history documentation, and case charges
• Supporting initiatives related to patient and employee satisfaction
• Performing technical procedures requiring independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity to apply ionizing radiation for diagnosis
• Maintaining current skills and continuing professional development, including attending department meetings and learning from radiologists, as well as staying informed about CHI Franciscan standards and protocols
• Performing quality assurance audits and incidental office duties to ensure complete patient records and departmental efficiency

Qualifications

Education/Work Experience

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, including coursework in cross-sectional anatomy or demonstrated skill/knowledge in the area.
• One year of work experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.

Licensure/Certification

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification required
• State of Washington Registration as a Radiologic Technologist
• CT Registration preferred

Please note: This location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire, which must be completed through internal resources.
