Job summary

Essentia Health’s Northern Pines Medical Center in Aurora, MN seeks a Radiologic Technologist (CT) to administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, and research procedures, collaborating with radiologists on interventional and biopsy cases.

You will provide patient care aligned with the age of the population served and ensure certification within two years of hire, with no formal education requirement specified. The role may involve day/evening/night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be registered in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) within two years of hire/transfer to the position.
• If North Dakota, must have current license on the North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing radiation to humans (infant through adult) for diagnostic, therapeutic procedures, and/or research using advanced computer-assisted imaging systems.
• Assist radiologists with interventional and biopsy procedures.
• Provide optimal patient care using established techniques and interact with patients appropriate to their age group.
