Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center is seeking a Registered CT Technologist to deliver high-quality CT imaging per physician orders in a collaborative imaging department. The role emphasizes patient care, accurate technique, and ongoing education to support a dynamic radiology team.

You will be responsible for preparing patients, explaining procedures, and maintaining image quality, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to department goals.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered Radiographer required; CT certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment
• One year of experience minimum required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT exam, explain procedure and ensure technical quality
• Promote professional growth by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education
• Possess knowledge of medical terminology sufficient to work accurately within the Imaging Department
• Serve as a mentor and resource to less experienced staff/student
• Work as a team player and meet the needs of the Imaging Department
