Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist onsite at 273 Charles Street, Boston. Under supervision, you perform diagnostic procedures with knowledge across cardiac and CT imaging to produce high-quality exams.

You collaborate with patients, physicians, and interdepartmental staff, prioritizing patient care. Expect requirements include a Certificate/Diploma in medical imaging, ARRT registration, and state licensure; CT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in medical imaging required.
• Associate's Degree Radiologic Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac and CT interventional procedures
• Assist the other technologists during procedures
• Ensure the proper exam is being administered to the patient. Consult provider as needed
• Review images and studies for proper identification and quality
• Checks patient history, and obtains appropriate waivers and forms, if applicable
• Identifies patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
• Provides educational in-services to staff, advanced practice nurses and physician assistants
