Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Cardiac Evaluation Center in Norwalk, CT, seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a cardiovascular walk-in center according to established protocols. You will assist the radiologist in producing accurate images and participate in invasive CT exams with proper sterile technique.

Licensed Radiologic Technologist with CT ARRT certification and graduation from an accredited Radiography program are required; ARRT CT certification within 12

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a cardiovascular center per established protocols.
• Select exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields to produce accurate CT images.
• Assist Radiologist or Physician's Assistant in complex invasive CT examinations using proper sterile technique.
