Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is expanding its Cardiac Evaluation Center in Norwalk, CT. We seek a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures at a dedicated cardiovascular walk-in center, collaborating with radiologists to deliver high-quality imaging.

You will participate in complex examinations, using proper sterile technique and state-of-the-art Siemens CT equipment, while pursuing ARRT CT certification within 12 months of start.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed by state prior to hire.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT within 12 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures at a cardiovascular center following established protocols to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Assist Radiologist or Physician Assistant during complex invasive CT examinations with proper sterile technique and CT image production.
• Maintain sterile technique and optimize exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields for accurate cross-sectional images.
