CT Technologist Bonita CT PG (Dual Modality CT and Xray)

This position is based at the Department 17048 - Bonita FS Computerized Tomography, located at 24040 S. Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs, FL, 34134. It is a full-time role with a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Job Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality CT scans and providing excellent patient care. Performs ancillary duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate HIS, RIS, PACS systems for ordering, monitoring, validation, and completing studies.
  • Organize patient information, reports, and images for interpretation.
  • Interview patients, explain procedures, and assist during exams.
  • Produce diagnostic images following department protocols.
  • Operate power injector systems safely.
  • Maintain radiation safety standards for patients and staff.
  • Identify patients accurately using two identifiers.
  • Provide patient care based on established standards, considering patient age and needs.
  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report any failures.
  • Recognize normal and abnormal images and report findings.
  • Maintain supplies and assist with inventory management.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology Program.
  • ARRT Registration in Radiology; CT registration within 1 year of hire.
  • Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
